By federal law, there are 12 Standardized variations of Medicare Supplements Plans (except in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Massachusetts). Standardized means the core benefits of each particular Plan is exactly the same from carrier to carrier. These plans are described by a letter from A to N. Currently, the most popular Plans are F, G, and N.
